Today is our 35th wedding anniversary!

Dear God,

Thank you for the devotion and the verse today, Isaiah 5:18!

I need to get rid of the baggage that is following me.

My Lord, I give it all to you!!

Jesus has died for our sins!

Please forgive me for my sins.

I pray for Your blessings on our anniversary and that many more years will come.

I pray for Your blessings on this upcoming trip and that a lot will get accomplished and it will be short.

I also pray for Your blessing for my family and others I am forgetting.

I also pray that I can finish the article, book, and taxes with Your will and blessings.

I pray for all this!!

I need to take each moment that God gives me and enjoy it.

It is very important to cherish each present moment and live it.

Thinking about the future or worrying, or feeling guilty about the past doesn’t help.

Do things that you want to do because you enjoy it.

Not because it may make you rich or famous.

It doesn’t help.

Please forgive me for my sins God.

I pray for your blessing on the above!

Today is my granddaughter’s birthday!!

Happy 4th birthday!!

Today is the day that I stop thinking that I am going to be a boss somewhere.

Better yet, today is the day when I stop thinking that someone is going to give me a position as “boss” because of my degree.

I know I have to earn it!!

I want to be a professional writer!!

I would like to write books and articles.

I need to finish the book that I am working on.

Being a technical writer is helping me a lot, but I want to go further!!

The first steps are to make time to write and base my schedule on my writing.

Time to get busy!!

My Heavenly Father,

Please forgive me for not praying to You or writing in this journal.

I must stop taking on so many things and leave it to You.

Please take everything on!!

I am only concentrating on these things: God, Family, and Book

I pray for Your blessings on this.

Please run my life!!

Heavenly Father,

I want to say thank you very much from my heart for a wonderful 56 years of my life.

I thank you for all of the wonderful blessings that you gave me during this time.

I am going to change my attitude and stop being so gloomy, grouchy, and mean.

I pray for your blessing for this year and for many years to come.

I also pray that my family is doing well.

I pray that You bless my family and that You answer their prayers.

Thank You once again for everything!!

This is to my Lord,

Yesterday was a rough day for all of the wrong reasons.

I should expect no recognition for the work that I do and feel left out of the conversations.

However, instead of feeling sad and bitter, I am going to take this with a different approach.

I should not expect anything and take this job as a hobby.

What I really need to do is serve You!!

Take care of my family and concentrate on the business and the book.

Yes, I have been hitting brick walls with the business, but hopefully, there will be a breakthrough soon.

Please bless me and give me Your strength and wisdom as we work on the course can the article.

I want to do this for experience only.

To learn something new.

Thank You, God, for the opportunity to write and to Live.

Dear Lord,

Please forgive me for my sins!

I need help to get over these sins, to get them out of my life!
I am struggling with these addictions and I need your help to get this problem out of my life!

Please keep my family safe and healthy.
Please bless them in all things and that they prosper and be successful.

“Change” is still the word for this year.
I want to stop doing the same thing that keeps getting the same result.
The items that you are shutting the door on.
Your answer has been provided, now it is my turn to listen.
I pray that you direct me on what I need to do.

Keep showing me!

I just want to follow.

Live in the moment.
Enjoy the journey!

In Jesus name we pray!

Dear Lord,

The word for this year is “change.”

I am going to do things differently.

The reason for “change” is because the way that I was doing everything is not succeeding.

This is going to be a process, a journey.

I am going to live in the present, moment by moment.

I will appreciate what I have

I will appreciate the moment.

Thank You, God, for saving me!!!

My prayers are for You!!

Please take care of my family!!

All this I ask in Jesus’ name!!
